“CrossFit keeps me excited about working out and staying in shape” Looking back, I thought I was in the best shape of my life in High School, competing in sports weights classes etc. Then in college, I really got out of shape with bad diet and not staying active. That continued after college and I got up to more than 230 lbs. I'm only 5 foot 8 on a good day. One day I decided I needed to get in shape and started running/walking and eventually got myself into pretty good cardiovascular shape but I was really board and felt tired and weak all the time.

Then, through a friend and a colleague I found CrossFit. That was almost 2 years ago.

I’m probably in better shape than in high school and I've been hooked ever since. I love the constantly varied workouts, intensity and the tremendous health benefits one can achieve in a relatively short time commitment. My favorite thing about working with all our friends at the gym is the encouragement we all give each other and the excitement people have when they achieve a 1st. Whether it's a 1st pull-up, a box jump or a pushup it's awesome!
