Do any of us really need to go back to eating gluten?

What is so bad about it? Haven't we've been eating wheat and other gluten-containing grains for thousands of years? Our ancestors were on a grain free diet, and it wasn't until the first agricultural civilizations that introduced grains saw their average height shrink and their bones were in poor health. Grains are not a source of any essential nutrients that can't be obtained from other foods. In the 1950's scientists have been trying to increase the wheat yields through genetic experimentation.  Today's wheat contains a lot more gluten which brings us to believe the higher health problems.

Among the most common are celiac, gluten sensitivity, digestive problems, IBS, bloating, abdominal pain, gas, diarrhea, constipation, headaches, migraines, fatigue, anemia, weight gain or weight loss, skin rash, skin rash, vitiligo, psoriasis, osteoporosis, depression, ADHD, schizophrenia, autism, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, the list goes ON! Gluten might not be the cause of all of these health problems, but it seems to worsen many of them.
