Welcome to Day 21 of your 30 day Paleo Challenge. Today February 1st you will record your points from 1/31/15 by Midnight. (As a reminder I will not except posts after Midnight)

What I love about Paleo Nutrition - is any SAD meal can be converted the Whole Paleo Foods Way - ANYTHING!! Simply converting white and wheat into almond and coconut flours. Converting white and brown sugars into coconut sugars, honey, maple syrups. Seriously it is not that hard!! My kids get chocolate chip cookies (made with almond flour, coconut sugar, or honey), granola bars with gluten free oats, fruit roll ups made from real fruit, gluten free pasta, pizza made with almond flour crust, real cheese, etc. My husband still gets his white potatoes and his steel cut  oats, we ALL eat lots of meat, fruit, and veggies.  It really is not that hard to co-exist.

Fitness Challenge

Steady state cardio (conditioning) is simply a cardio workout that is a continuous, steady effort, as opposed to an interval cardio workout where you vary your energy output. Any cardiovascular/aerobic activity that is sustained for an extended time (usually starting at about 10 to 15 minutes.

Types of steady state and what counts for this challenge: Running, Jogging, Walking, Treadmill, Elliptical, Row Machine, Swimming, Biking, Skiing.

Any and all minutes spent doing steady state cardio (conditioning) will count towards this challenge. Be truthful about what is aerobic activity and what is not. Taking the trash out, a casual stroll,  or running errands does not count although it may seem like your are getting your heart rate up. This should be a planned, conscious decision to go out and do some cardiovascular activity.

Your challenge begins today and ends February 3 at Midnight. Post your TOTAL time Tuesday February 3rd by Midnight.

Have Fun and Good Luck!
